Frequently asked questions

How much does junk removal cost in Newark?

It is priced by how much of the truck your stuff fills: a single item is about $75 to $200, a quarter truck $150 to $300, a half truck $300 to $450, and a full truck $450 to $750. Stairs, weight, and special-disposal items add to it. We quote the all-in price before we load and you approve it first.

Do you offer same-day junk removal?

Yes, in most cases. Because we cover the dense Newark and Essex County area constantly, we can usually get to a job same-day or next-day. Call or text in the morning and we can often have a crew out that afternoon. Tenant turnovers and urgent cleanouts we prioritize to keep your timeline on track.

Do I have to move anything to the curb?

No. That is the whole point of full-service removal. We carry everything out ourselves, from the basement, the attic, a third-floor walk-up, wherever it is. You point at what goes, we do all the lifting and loading, and we sweep up after. You never have to drag a heavy item down the stairs.

What can you take, and what can you not?

We take furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, household junk, renovation debris, yard waste, and most non-hazardous material. We cannot take hazardous waste like paint, chemicals, asbestos, or certain solvents, which require specialized disposal. If you are not sure about something, send a photo and we will tell you whether we can haul it.

What do you do with the junk?

We sort it. Usable furniture and goods go to donation, recyclable material and scrap metal go to recycling, and the rest is disposed of legally at licensed transfer stations. As a registered hauler we keep everything legal and out of illegal dump sites, which matters in New Jersey where fly-dumping can come back on the property owner.

Do you handle apartment and rental-unit cleanouts?

Yes, constantly. The Newark and Essex County rental market keeps us busy with tenant turnovers, eviction cleanouts, and landlord clear-outs. We work on a property manager’s schedule, handle multiple units, carry from any floor, and provide the documentation and legal disposal turnover work needs, often same-day or next-day so you can re-rent fast.

Can you remove a single heavy item like a couch or fridge?

Absolutely. Single-item removal, a couch, mattress, refrigerator, washer, or treadmill, usually runs $75 to $200, and we do the carrying and any disassembly to get it through the door. Appliances and mattresses have special disposal rules in New Jersey, which we handle. It costs less per item if you have us take a few things at once.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are a registered, insured junk-removal and hauling company, we carry general liability coverage, and we dispose of everything legally at licensed facilities. We will share proof of registration and insurance on request. Hiring a registered hauler protects you, since an unlicensed one who fly-dumps your junk can leave you liable.

Is junk removal or a dumpster better for my job?

For a one-time cleanout where you do not want to do the lifting, and especially on tight Newark blocks where a dumpster will not fit or needs a permit, junk removal is usually the better call. For a long renovation generating debris over weeks, a dumpster can make sense. We will give you an honest take on which fits your situation.

How do I get a quote?

Call or text us a photo or a description of what needs to go, and we will give you a ballpark right away. For bigger jobs like a full-property cleanout we confirm a firm price on site. Either way the estimate is free, and you approve the all-in price before we load anything.
